Religious Services

Brass instruments have been an integral part of religious services for centuries. From the antiphonal canzoni of Gabrieli to the unique modern writings of John Rutter, the sound of brass can add a distinctive touch to your service.  Brassworks has decades of experience performing a broad range of traditional and modern church music. With a library of over three hundred titles and the area’s foremost freelance musicians, you can be sure to find the quality and professionalism that will impress both you and your congregation.

As our name suggests, Brassworks’ specialty is classical brass music, however through our professional collaboration with musicians throughout the area we can also arrange larger mixed ensembles including strings, woodwinds, and percussion, all selected from highly trained, experienced classical musicians. Contact us to discuss the options that best fill your needs, and we will respond to to you, usually within one day.

“Charles Larkins is a fine trumpeter. I have worked with him for over 20 years, at deacon, priesthood, and bishop ordination
liturgies, a papal mass, installations of archbishops, concerts and weddings, to name just a few occasions. He is superb. You will not be disappointed.”
